People with disabilities have equal work opportunities
SCHS's Vocational Rehabilitation & Training Department continues with its summer activities which lasts to the end of August 2010.  It is part of SCHS's program of training for people with disabilities in public departments and private institutions.  According to Mr. Amjed Tawhee the head of SCHS's training department, the disabled students who are currently training in Sharjah Co-operative Society, Sharjah Naturalization and Residency Department, Etisalat, and Sharjah Municipality, will develop their working skills by actual practicing.  Mr. Tawhee said: "the department works to train those who are looking for a job of people with disabilities.  They are trained to become productive employees".  It is very important for the department to support them and claim their human and social rights.  It is a comprehensive responsibility that requires cooperation of individuals and institutions alike.

The students Khalid Abed Aziz and Kaother Hassin are currently training in Sharjah Co-operative Society.  They have great enthusiasm and determination to overcome their disability, which is depriving them from mingling properly into society.  This annual contribution by Sharjah Co-operative Society is part of SCHS training program for people with disabilities.  It has been providing its experience in clerical work and marketing to these students.  Mr. Majed Salim, head of Sharjah Co-operative Society, said: " people with disabilities need the acceptance and the trust of their community.  The administration of Sharjah Society will work hard to make the disabled students integrate successfully into the society and help build their own country".  In addition, Sharjah Co-operative Society hires some of those students who finish training successfully in some of its branches around United Arab Emirates.  Mr. Salim mentioned the great role of H.H Shaikha Jameela Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, vice president of Sharjah Family Supreme Council, director general of SCHS, in setting smart comprehensive plans to improve the lives of people with disabilities.  She has been providing a high quality education and equal work opportunities to those who have great determination and ambition to continue with their lives in spite of their disability.
Mr. Amad El Dean, an administrative at Sharjah Co-operative Society, highly appreciates the performance of Khalid and Kaother and their positive cooperation with their superiors.  They are intelligent and curious.  These qualities will help them find the right job in which they will make a living and maintain a decent life.  This will support the national economy and reinforce the concept of team work among the various classics of our community.
